Good Day Everyone,

I have recently purchased RailModeller Pro and completed a layout design using O gauge 3 rail tubular track. There are a couple of things I'm still having slight difficulties understanding. This is my initial introduction to this design software, I have some drafting/mechanical drawing knowledge, and  good computer skills, this seems like the way to go as I've been doing graph drawings for weeks now. The ability to get accurate track counts and the accuracy of spacing the tracks, has been the greatest contribution to my designing process and time.

1) My initial layout consists of three different levels. The first and second have a grade track between them (3.2%) but I could not seem to get them to match up in the grade image view section. I worked for some time adjusting the track levels, the track selections and making sure everything was connected and lined up. but I don't know where or what step I was off on.

2) Is there a way to "layer" the baseboards, they seem as just a means of track projections and layout parameters. They don't separate into different baseboard layers. I'm still unable to round off the corners as well!

3) The layers of track I designed separately do not stack correctly in 3D view. The last tier always end up on the bottom. Do I need to plan my layers from the top down in this order, 3-2-1. I started with the first layer being the first off the floor.

I have watched many of the instructional videos and have been using all the tutorials I can find. I dont mind doing until I figure it out on my own, I would simply like to move on and do another design or two, one which involves a helix and eliminating the second tier leaving me with 20-24" of space between the lower and top layer.

I appreciate all of the input being offered and I look forward to leaving some proper layout designs soon.      Thanks for reading/responding to my post.    All the best,Tim
