Real-life Hogwarts Express train hits the tracks at Universal Orlando

I'll ride it but when the dementors show up, I'm freakin' out of there....

You will be so chilled out with the dementors and so depressed you could hardly move.

Anyone notice in the 2nd photo that the drivers are not touching anything, just floating?  Makes it hard for it move anywhere.

Screens over the window displaying the British countryside, huh? I wonder if they'll include the rain

 

That would explain the odd bulging apparatus mounted on one side of the cars though.

 

And maybe the locomotive's drivers are merely for show, kind of like the CP Huntingdon amusement-park locomotives.

 

I wonder about the coaches though. They could be reproductions, but they look awfully close to British Rail Mark I coaches in size (they could be as short as 60'), which last time I heard, weren't exactly in short supply owing to the many heritage railroads over there.

The second picture down has a second engine nosing in from the left and a tender on the right. Are there two or even three trains?

But only one train leaves Platform 9 3/4 @ 1100 GMT each day........

It seems as though that there are two identical train sets. One for each direction between Diagon Alley (London) and Hogwarts (Hogsmeade). According to MuggleNet the windows will act like video screens.

I doubt they are real British Mark 1 coaches they look a little short in the photographs.
