I did. I had a 15 x 25 layout that could only be seen from two doors, one being an aisle. I knocked a wall down at each end, reconfigured the table and made an around the wall layout 25 x 33 with a center esplanade. I now have plenty of viewing space and no more duck under for me.
Good topic. I going to be building my last layout in our retirement home after the 1st of the year. It's not only going to be people friendly but also handicap friendly. I volunteer time working with the handicap and my new layout will be built with those special folks in mind.
