For those of you that use Rossbed on your layout what paint did you use and did the Rossbed remain flexible after painting it. Also, would just using a gray paint brushed on look good without having to use the speckled spray paint.

RR Tie Brown is what I use. From Micro-Mark Paints. Its Airbrush Paint. I've never found the RossBed to be flexible. Matter of fact Its like a cracker and rather brittle ; Unless I got a 'stale' bunch!
It’s never flexible. It’ll snap if you bend it. Grey primer is fine, especially if you plan on ballasting it as well.
I use Krylon Natural Stone Charcoal in the spray can. I plan to put similar colored ballast on it some day.
And yes, it WILL NOT bend.
Thanks for the input on the paint as I was just considering what paint to use as well.
And, yes I can attest to the fact they are brittle. I accidently snapped in half the rossbed for one of my double crosover switches trying to get the switch back out, even when I was trying to be careful. It will still be usable and should be un noticable once ballasting is complete.
