Hi I need some help please. This section of my layout is tough. The layout is elevated around the room. The angled blue line represents a door opening. The track would then go back through the wall into our den. The curves are all 72 or greater but I feel that its too curvy. What are my options?  Thanks Bill

I see two options.  First, just run a small section of single track between two switches (one to the left of the doorway and one to the right.  Access to the single track between the two switches could be limited electronically so no collisions occur.  The second alternative is to run a gauntlet track (no switches required) like real railroads did when a two-tracked line had to cross a single track bridge.

Both options prevent drilling through walls and increase operational action.
