would anyone happen to know the item or part number for a Scaletrax Switch block (switch engine) Laying new switches and three of the Scaletrax momentary switches were stuck in the curve position, melting the switch blocks. I hadn’t had any problems up to now. Of the 8 new, just purchased Scaletrax switch’s, 4 of the momentary switches were bad.

Thought I’d give an update.
Ive purchased a total of 8 new switches for my layout remodel, all Scaletrax. Of the 8, 5 Switch machines have melted-down. One more since my first post. Yesterday, I eliminated all the momentary switches and wired all switches to the AIU. I had originally wanted both, the grandkids really like operating the momentary switches.
Just a note, I have mostly Scaletrax (10 switches & Track) and Atlas (three switches & track)
After searching the forum, I’ve come across quite a few posts regarding this same problem.
