scarm

I already have scarm, but I went to the website and downloaed the program again. I'm running Win 8.1 and using Windows Defender as my anti-virus. It gave no warning with scarm, but has given me numerous warnings when I've tried to download various other software.

I've never had an issue downloading it.  It could be your software doesn't like it when you download .EXE files.

I also use RR-Track, but got SCARM to view layout plans posted by others on the forum. I believe I used the link posted by mikeadmas2k and have not had any problems with virus software or a virus. I have upgraded it a couple of times by downloading a new version from the same site.

I was always told that you can only have one anti-virus program running at one time as they conflict with one another.

They are "advertiser" links. The correct link was posted above. I believe Mixy (OGR forum name of the author) is not happy about those.

it's like many web pages that require a little pause to discern the proper link. It's usually not the most obvious brightly colored flashing one.

The software is clean. The advertisers are not.

Hi guys, last night I used the link posted by mikeadmas2k and had no problem at all.  The software loaded fine and is up and running.  Everything is good now.  Thanks to all of you.

Ditto that. I was once fooled by an advertiser link. SCARM itself works fine for me.
