Is there some guidance to using the search and advanced search functions??
It does not work well for me - sometimes not at all, yielding no results. I have tried a few tests, entering the subject line text of some of my own posts, and get no results.
What am I doing wrong?

For example, I entered 4-6-6t in the search box and it comes up no results (though there are multiple threads on the K-Line 4-6-6T tank engine)
Try the Advanced Search and place your 4-6-6t in the "Exact Phrase Match" search line.
Comes back w/ plenty of results
Well that worked...
Guessing that the forum's basic search function logic is boolean so 4-6-6T would return posts that have 4 and only without (-) 6 and without (-) 6T
