I've received word that the PRR PD/OD varnish has arrived at the Port of NY. This means that as of tomorrow, the pre-order period will end and the price will increase to full retail, $1499.95.
While the coach/combine set is fully subscribed, there remains just three (3!) 2-piece coach sets available for reservation. The pre-order price is just $1349.95, a $150 savings.
So if you are thinking about buying a set of these cars, this is really the last minute to save some bucks.
Next is the W&A "Yonah" and the NY&H "Amenia", early 4-4-0s. The Yonah is the third of my "Great Locomotive Chase" series. If you have a "General" or "Texas" or both, you will want the "Yonah". If you are a NYC fan, you might want to consider the "Amenia". Pre-orders on these locos are being taken now for delivery in late 2012.
We will be producing Civil War era arch roof passenger cars after that.
