You ever get this? I was upstairs running my AEC Geep with the civil defense siren every now and then. I come down and tell my daughter, "Did you hear the sirens going? Well, there's nothing to worry about, just a little nuclear spill at the power plant. They got most of it cleaned up pretty well. You should have seen those little guys move!" She smiles and says .... "Dad, it sounds like you're having too much fun up there"

Anyone else have a similar story?

At one point when I was unemployed, I had a cheap plastic toy figure of a deer, which I painted and combined with three Arttista crows to make a road kill scene. My wife took one look at it and said, "Get a job".

Back before the turn of the century when I was into HO, I made a punk rock band and set them up in a garage on the layout. Used some little army guys with guns made into guitars and stuff. Even had an old Caddy ambulance parked outside painted up for the band.
