I took the plunge today and successfully switched out the sound file  in my  Railking Imperial Bigboy.   It had a passenger station announcements file....I  uploaded the engine 4014 "Oil Burner" cab chatter  which is  a lot of fun...the engineer and brakeman musing about running the restored Bigboy...this way I can run the engine with passenger cars or freight  without the PFA sounds clashing! LOL   I big thank you to the book  DCS Companion - By Barry Broskowitz for giving me the courage to do it.... it was actually easier than I thought....I always felt like I would screw up the engine somehow....  I must admit I was surprised that it takes over two hours to off load the original sound file to my computer to save it  for future use....However, uploading a new file only took about 20 minutes...which is much better...too bad there is no way to preview the sound file before up loading...I guess you kind have to go through a trial and error process to make sure you like it...

This will work on PC. Mac is a little different.

By the way, congratulations on the new sounds! 😀

I can not see on the page where to download you download you program....

I see this..."This page describes and has links to my program, ADPCM to play sound clips from the .mth sound file."

However I'm not seeing where to download your ADPCM program.....this is different than your RTC program correct?
