Attached is my umteenth iteration of a track plan for my oddly shaped basement space. I have tried to make it where I can run two trains unattended, and I have also compromised in that the lower longer loop has 072 minimum curves, while the upper loop has 064. I really wanted trains to pass over each other to add some interest.  My operation would be shay's, climax, and maybe some early four axle diesels-- 40 foot boxcars, logging cars, etc. Sort of a short line/narrow gauge feel to it. Seems like I had to squeeze a lot of track together to enable the connection of the two loops, but I just cannot see another way to do it. I tried to add as many sidings as possible to service maybe a mine or sawmill, and maybe a logging camp, or wharf. There are a couple of areas that may need some kind of access hatch or something. The spur track in the upper right hand room stops at a wall, but the other side of the wall is a 19 X 19 room that COULD house (with spousal permission) a yard and turntable area. If I have overlooked some operational  snafu-- please point it out. Sure a LOT easier to keep fiddling with a computer program than to make a mess.

Hi,

I liked your last iteration, but, anyway I tried to run a sim (GP diesel at 38mph)and the train derailed at the tracks marked in red. It appears to be GG track mixed in with the Ross. it looks connected.

I started in the center, went up the grade and around the r-loop back down and switched to the inside line. Then it derailed approaching the switch to head to the right side.

I didn't want to make any changes. Just marked the area in red.

The 3D stinks in RRT, so I can't really get a good feel for it. It appears that you changed the elevated area for simpler construction.
