I just watched a documentary on the Amtrak Sunset Limited crash on the Big Bayou Canot bridge. Near the end of the program, they create a simulation of the damage to the rails, just before the train crosses the bridge and plunges into the water. Instead of using CGI, or even model train track with two rails, they use a piece of what appears to be Gargraves three-rail track, bent into an S-turn. Yet another example of the cluelesscenti trying to do it right, and getting it wrong.
