Okay.  This is strange.  Has anyone noticed this?

TIU is a Rev I3a, Var1 and Var2 fed by a PW ZW, Fxd2 fed by a PW KW, TIU Aux Pwr is a Z500.  Start with everything OFF and apply Aux Pwr.  On Fxd2 Output there's 1/4 volt output that bleeds off in about 3 secs.  This effect is repeatable if you wait at least 15 seconds between attempts.  It appears that from t=0 'til t=3 there's a sneak circuit between Aux Pwr and Fxd2 Output until a capacitor charges up somewhere.

I'm not concerned, it's just something odd I noticed.

Yes, a rather light load.  A friend built a signal bridge with five pairs of LEDs that are powered by Fxd2.  That's the reason I noticed the voltage.  It was enough to make five LEDs glow very slightly for the 3 secs when powering the TIU.

See if a bit more loading will change that.  I'm surprised 1/4V does anything for an LED, it doesn't do it here.  I have to get to a bit over 1.25 volts before any visible light comes from a standard red LED, those have an operating voltage of 1.5 volts, the typical for colored LED's.  I don't know of any LED's that operate much lower than that.

I can't  see how the aux power supply can jumper over to fixed 2. We know the pin on the tiu's aux power jack is common to the black on fixed 1 but how does it get over to fixed 2?

What's  common to the kw and z-500 ? the wall outlet  I suppose.

Is there track connected anywhere on the outputs of the tiu???
