Hi everyone, I have one tmcc command base and four loops of track. Can I hook the command base to all four loops of track? and I would like to use a second remote for another operator to join in the fun. Steve

You only ever need ONE command base. I'll be running close to 2000' of track with one base. You can have as many remotes as you want. I have 9. All I need is 8 train buddies.
Thank's Elliot
You're welcome Steve.

Elliot, be careful what you wish for!

You didn't mention if the lops were independent. As long as the commons are"tied"/ connected on all 4 loops, just connect the base wire to a common at the transformer or at the track.
Even a caveman could do it
Indeed Rod. If you build it they will come.
Rick, thanks for mentioning that. I have read stories here on the forum where the signal was being received on a disconnected track in close proximity, but yes, it is best to connect them.
I only have one connection on my layout to the common outside rail, and was recently surprised when I opened a new section of layout and the signal was there.
Yes RickO, all independent. THANK"S Steve
Stephen,
As long as ALL your COMMONS are Common to ALL 4 Loops, ie connected together!!!

hook the "U" terminal of all transformers together and you can have TMCC almost anywhere. I have a separate small layout in a different room. I ran a wire from one "U" terminal to the other room and now I have a choice of TMCC or Conventional in both rooms. The room is only about 20' away, Not sure how far you can go. Don
