I decided that I needed to put a TMCC package that I got from Ben to good use, so my PS/1 Goose is now TMCC/Railsounds enabled.  While I was at it, I added some taillights where the little painted on red dots were using some heavy fiber-optic strands and replaced the headlights with warm-white LED's.  The smoke outputs provide a convenient way to control the cab lights.  The sounds were some unidentified chips that had a nice primitive sounding motor, I don't think Lionel has anything that matches this rig too close.

All that's left is to add some passengers in the cab and it'll be ready for prime-time.

I don't have pictures, but it's not difficult.  The electronics and motors are in the rear, and there was plenty of room.  This was a PS/1 unit, so it had a pretty large board set already in there.  It also already has a speaker provision.  I used the existing 4 pin tether to run the cab and headlights.  I forget the exact sound set I used, it was one that sounded the best for the task.
