I see there is quite a bit of discussion on this issue. I just want to be certain so I will ask and I apologize if this is repetitive. I operate with TMCC and have Track powered controllers so I can operate both Proto 1 and Proto 2 engines in conventional mode using the CAB 1 control. Will I be able to do the same with an engine upgraded to Proto 3?

Should operate the same as the PS2.
