I have recently bought three SC-2s.
Both will not throw to the curve side on my Super O switches. They will work throwing to the straight. I know they're hooked up correctly since I have six of them working on my layout now.
I'm on hold with Lionel right now for 45 min. Does anyone know how I might get these fixed?

Try programming them again for switches only.
I think Ron is right, I've seen the combo programming be an issue at times, never bothered to track it down farther. I just am using them for accessories and to remote control turntable tracks and rotation.
