I have some pegboard tool hangers for screw drivers and nut drivers. I also have some precision screw and nut drivers that are too small for the hanger rings. I looked on the Internet to see if there is a smaller version of the hanger for smaller tools. Nothing seemed to be readily available for purchase.
I did find a possible solution. One person had pried open the rings, cut them, and then re-bent them to better fit his smaller tools. Other folks tried this, only to find that the welds on the rings would not stand up to the bending and cutting without breaking.
I found a bunch of metal washers in my stock, and figured I could epoxy them to the rings, and have a reduced sized opening for my smaller, precision drivers.
The three pictures show how this worked out for me. I thought I would pass this along to the forum. Maybe some of you are in need of a solution to the same problem. I bought the tool hangers at Harbor Freight for a couple of bucks each.
