Just received a CSX Lionchief GP38. It comes with spare traction tires but no instructions for replacing them. Side frame screws are not accessible unless the shell is removed and the trucks removed from the motor. The old MTH engines were that way and it was a pain to have to take everything apart to change the tires. I noticed in the Lionchief GP7 manual there is no mention of replacing tires.
On a positive note, if you turn off the sounds using the switch on the bottom of the frame, both the horn and bell still work. The engine sounds get annoying after awhile but the grandkids like to sound the horn and bell so this is a nice feature.
