I’m not sure where to post this inquiry, but it does involve layout design.
A number of years ago I read of a game or contest using a train yard. Various cars are situated in the yard  The player who successfully arranged the cars in a pre-determined consist wins the game

I’m hoping some one can point to an online or printed resource detailing the layout and instructions for the game.

Don,

Your post made me check my links to "on-line" train games.  Unfortunately, all that I have no longer work because they were built on old Flash technology which can not be used on most current browsers for security reasons.  If anyone knows of an on-line version of either the Inglenook or the Timesaver (by John Allen), please post them here.  Also, if anyone knows of a browser that still allows flash to run, please post that info and I will post my game links.

Chuck

Thanks all.
I didn’t know what to look for but when googling timesaver and inglebrook I found lots of information including videos, books, and track plans.
I run O gauge but have HO trains & track. I thought this might be a fun use of the HO. Don’t think I have enough switches though

I’ve also started imaging how I might use some of the HO in my O gauge layout.
