Hey guys, I recently tried to run my original protosound engines with the tiu and can’t seem to get them working properly. When I start the engine up the sound comes on and crackles and the engine will not respond to any remote commands. However when I use the transformer in true convential style my older engines run fine. Also my other non MTH conventional engines will respond to the thumb wheel and directional button. Can anyone offer advice? Thanks

Original Protosound engines are conventional engines and can only be operated conventionally under DCS, using the DCS Remote's TR screen or the DCS App's Track Control Screen.
Everything that you need to know about DCS is all in MTH’s “The DCS Companion 3rd Edition!" This book is available from many fine OGR advertisers and forum sponsors, or as an eBook or a printed book at MTH's web store! |
Everything that you need to know about DCS WiFi is all in MTH’s “The DCS WiFi Companion 2nd Edition!" |
I would think Protosound engines should react like his regular conventional engines. He must be using the TK screen to run the others if he is using the remote.
Im running them on variable just like my other conventionals, but my ps1 engines just dont respond to direction while using the remote
what is your power supply?
Z 4000 and I’m using a z750 to power the tiu
