I am trying to design a new layout using SCARM, and I want to incorporate several of my older Lionel accessories into the layout - a conveyor log loader, a saw mill, a log loader and a lumber fork lift.  Several of these need a uncoupler/unloader track to dump logs/lumber from the car into the accessory.  Because of limits in space, I am planning on using Ross track and switches, largely  because of flexibility the Wye-031 switch gives me in matching up different loops of track.  The problem I am having is Ross doesn't make a Uncoupler/Unloader track that I can find.  There are a bunch of posts pointing to GarGraves, and their uncoupler/unloaders seem pretty versatile with the uncoupler at the end or middle of the track.  Problem is, their site does not list the size of the uncoupler/unloader track, and it doesn't show up in the track list from SCARM.  The alternative would be Atlas.

Can anybody tell me the exact length of the GarGraves uncoupler/unloader track?  Were the weak magnet problems in earlier posts really fixed?  Would anybody have any other recommendations?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Tell Steve what your doing and he will fix you up with what you need. The rails come any length you want and you spike them in place on your Gargraves or Ross track.

I note that RR-Track does give the length of the current Gargraves offerings. Model 108 is 10.5 inches while 107 is 6.6 inches. I use the older 1990's version of these tracks that used the round, rather than rectangular, magnet. The size of those was 10.25 and 5.12 inches, respectively.
