I have now decided that I am going to extend the layout plans for a much larger design that makes a large U shape in the basement. Due to the fact that O gauge takes up so much space. In order to get a more realistic scenic looking layout. I am very excited about continuing to expand the layout and hope to be completely done with the bench work and track plans by around christmas. Possibility of starting some foam work real soon as well.

You're several weeks ahead of me, Tim. I'm still building a room in the attic, then I'll build the tables. I'd like too see your track plan because I don't know what I'm going to end up with. I thought I had one picked out until I realized that I wouldn't be able to reach into the corners. ;-(
Like Writers with Writers block I am having layout block.... I just cant decide what exactly I want to do next. I want my layout to be trains in the back country going through winding hills with vast amounts of scenery and rolling hills but I just cant think of how to layout the track plan.
