Great Video. That Caboose found a perfect home.
Matt
Alex,
That is one sweet locomotive. Here's hoping that Lionel will make that same locomotive in the Lionmaster line of locomotives. Alex, enjoy running that baby. Killian

THANKS AGAIN, ALEX
It looks like that engine uses a lot of track...
Shall I send back some of the track I just bought from you ?
Bruce..
Hi Bruce, this engine is a beast. I still have a lot more track, but thanks for the offer. LOL
Thanks, Alex
Great video. I have the USRA version Mallet and it has become one of my favorites. It is just a very good looking engine, and a great runner.
However, mine has a quirk that drives me crazy. It is by far the most sensitive loco I have to dirty track. Unclean track that purely conventional locos (WBB ten-wheeler) will tolerate without any difficulties, and the best "Legacy" locos (V Hudson, recent Blue Comet) seem to handle well, drive this thing crazy - if the track is anything but recently (last couple of hours) cleaned, it will stutter and stop occasionally or start 'talking to itself' (seems to interpret variations in voltage due to the dirt as DCC commands?). I run it always with a track cleaning car as part of its consist,.
Thanks Lee, that's odd what happens to you engine, I can run my Mallet on
on any of my 5 lines , and the all my track has not been cleaned in 2 months.
Maybe you should have it checked out by Lionel. Could It be a loose pickup
roller.
Thanks, Alex
