The latest cars I designed for METCA Division TCA. It's fun seeing these actually produced.

The G&O has had a tradition of running trains on New Year's Day. No trains were run on January 1, 2015 because a tree fell on the layout wiping out the mainline. The tradition was resumed on January 1, 2016.
The Daylight is being pulled by a brass Williams 4449 that was upgraded to command control with Electric Railroad electronics. The SP diesel has also been changed to command control with ERR parts. The cars are a mix of K-Line and MTH. Here are a few photos:
Here's a "grab shot" I took with my cell phone showing the town of Duncannon. Lets you really get down close to the scene like you are standing right there...

Frank, Your car wouldn't start? You do know your engine is missing, right?
I think that's the problem. Maybe somebody stole it?
(And I imagined I had an eye-for-detail!)

Frank, as usual your photos as always tell a story or remind us of times past.. But in this case. I just couldn't resist.

I'm glad you didn't resist. It was a good laugh, at my "expense," and I enjoyed it. And I enjoyed the surprise of never having noticed the absence myself (!)
I have a passion for articulated steam engines and there are currently three on my railroad: NYC USRA 2-8-8-2; N&W Y6b; Southern Pacific AC12 Cab-Forward. I am looking for good deals on a second hand Clinchfield Challenger and a second hand Erie Triplex, both with PS 2.

All you need to add is an engine hanging from a hoist. Great modeling - always inspiring!

Hhhmmmmmmm....let me think about that. That's a good idea, except that the vignette has the car stopped at the side of a village road, seemingly for an unexpected emergency, not on-the-spot shopwork. Right? Oh, whatthehay, it's still a good idea you have suggested Maybe, I'll move the whole scene into a car repair business lot. Hhhmmmmmm????!!!
Why Tom (Gilly @N&W) and I weren't at TrainStock.......Kids Day in the Garden...... Our last day for the 2015-16 season......wish we could have done both!
