Shot this photo of the New Haven Depot in New Haven, MI.
It is a 9 exposure HDR to bring out all the colors in the details.

I am slowly getting power to the city. Ordered a bunch of 12V LEDs today. I hate being in the garage, but it is better than nothing.

Thank you. I do not get a chance to do my other hobby much, photography so I snap shots when I can. I actually took this on my lunch hour yesterday.
Afternoon Guys,
Here is a shot of my first Christmas train layout. It measures 44" wide X 10' and shares the spot light with my wife's Dept. 56 Christmas in the City buildings. For starters, I decided to go with just a simple loop but over the course of the next year, I'll build a new section and it will become an "L" shaped layout which will also share space with my wife's Dickens Village. I also plan on making a few changes to the original loop. The tree on the layout is mostly Hall Mark ornaments that I've collected over the years, still needs some more. The first shot is before we added the skirting which my wife put together.
Thanks for sharing some great looking layouts and photos, I've enjoyed looking at all of them.
Cheers,

Chris,
Great pictures. How are you triggering the MTH signal bridges? Is there any way to get them to work in sequence?
I have them on DPDT toggle switches. I control them manually.

Nice job on all the layouts and the photo this is why I enjoy looking at this thread every week.
Great photos as always! I found this one on my camera card after forgetting that I took these .... oops. Railfair at the Scottsdale Railroad Park in October on a modular layout.

It's all in the perspective of the image. Here is my lone 027 size train running on the same layout as the above posted image.

During the last October US train convention in Adliswil (Switzerland) the AM-Tracker club (the club who was in York in 2011) set-up a nice temporary 3 rails outdoor layout.
That is some interesting track!! The sections look to be quite long with some very wide ties. Does anyone know the manufacturer of the track by chance??
Train display in the John Hancock Center in Chicago.
My wife and I rode with our bicycle club on the Indian Head Rail Trail in Southern Maryland last Friday. When we got to the White Plains end of the trail, we arrived just in time to see the new C&O caboose put in place. The inside of the caboose was in great shape. It was donated by the B&O museum in Baltimore. The pictures are off the IHRT Facebook page. The first is the before picture at the museum, and the second is with the bike club on the caboose in White Plains. I'm 2nd from the left on the ground, and my wife is above me to the right.

We have a 9-year-old friend of the son of one of the members who is seriously into trains. Last year, because dues had to be raised, we changed the memberships to family vs. individual, so his parent's joined. Well, Nicholas gave us a touching little token of appreciation. Caught us by surprise this Saturday. BTW, Nicholas is one of the best operators in the club and is usually the one running my trains during test runs.
Meanwhile, much to the shagrin of some club members, I've continued converting some rolling stock over to scale wheels and couplers. The two Atlas/Roco stock cars need the underslung Kadees as the standard 800's sit too high.
