What am I looking at? PS-1 replacement | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

An engine I am considering purchasing was originally a PS-1 railking articulated steamer. Seller says they went to change the battery but found this instead. I don't recognize the boards, and there is no place for a battery. Is this a ps-3 upgrade? Perhaps something else entirely?

It almost looks like ERR. The tape makes it hard to tell. The left board looks like a R4LC.

It appears to be a TAS TMCC setup. I believe it's the SAW board as I don't see the bridge clamped to the heatsink that would be there with EOB. It also has the same side profile as the TAS SAW board I'm looking at from my parts box.

That switch right in front is doubtless the PGM/RUN switch, try programming it with a TMCC setup and see if it run.
