I saw a picture on a "Brooklyn, NY" nostalgia website of a 4-4-0. Anyone know when the B&BBRR was active? Guessing it's the Brooklyn & Brighton Beach Rail Road.

Bill, Thank you for posting this site. I have a collection of pre-WWI Coney Island postcards, and it was great seeing a Bungalo Bar ice cream truck. This was OUR version of Good Humor, growing up in NYC during the "old days".
The #1 item on that page fondly recalls, "The subway, bus and the trolley were only a thin dime to ride," above a picture of a D train to Coney Island, however, to the best of my recollection, the D train didn't run to Coney until some time after the fifteen cent token era began.

ps - I looked it up. Fifteen cent fare ran from '53 - '66, D train to Coney began in '54, so not as long after the increase as I thought.
