Any help? Searching the MTH website has been both frustrating and futile.
Thanks for any help.

10120 was on the 48 century at one point …I don’t think MTH offered it in a full set, but probably as a 2 car add on….

Yeah, guessing it is the sleeper part of an MTH sleeper/diner pair. Ribbed body and painted silver.
Shows up in prototype searches, yet not in any MTH product search.

Yeah, …I had to correct myself a wee bit, …I don’t remember ever seeing that car made by MTH, but if they did, it’d look just like the Empire State cars they made……That particular car was not assigned to any specific named train, but was on the Century according to an article I read,……

Does the car have figures inside and do the trucks have working springs or cast in simulated springs? That could help narrow down when it was made and what catalog it was in.

Pete,
It has the new style big sprung trucks and the diaphragms with the striker plate. No figures.
Do only the LED illuminated cars have factory installed figures?
No figures but with seats puts the timeline around 2001-2004,5. 2005 most got figures plus anti roll bars next to the diaphragms. Not sure about LEDs but sometime after 2010 I think, maybe a few years later.
Prior to 2000 most all passenger cars had silhouettes.
