I haven't been on Lionel's parts site in quite a while, and when I clicked on the trusty old link it came up with "Page Not Found." Can anyone provide the new link please?
Thanks, Rod

Try this Rod. I know the link looks the same. Expect to find something completely different.

You’ll love it!….🤢

"New and improved" lol!
It reminds me of when they " improved " Coca Cola.
More like when Vega and Pinto were supposed to revolutionize the car world.

Don't let young children be around the first time you use the new web-site. Just saying Rod.
Jim
Haha good one Jim!
So where do you go to enter a product number so as to get a parts list with PN's?
Rod
I hope Lionel listens to us and makes improvements rather than simply ignoring our comments. Maybe they should go after the designer of the system and get their money back and reboot the old system.
So I was at the modular layout yesterday. I needed to reset my Legacy Mohawk from 2011. I went online to look up the manual.....and, they're gone?!?!?!
Manuals are for purchase, if they have one.....is this for real or did I screw up?

Ron,
I don't remember anyone ever making this precise claim, but you have the essence of it correct.
I know that Lee Iacocca (Ford at the time) and a GM executive told Richard Nixon in a White House meeting, around the time these new car lines were being launched, that they were necessary to beat the Japanese and keep the American car industry in business, or it would fail.
Their effort might qualify as claiming to be a revolutionary approach, but on the other hand, with the benefit of hindsight, we know how very, very poorly that effort turned out.
This new parts website has turned out just as poorly.
Maybe they're TRYING to discourage parts sales?

Here you go Peter. They are there if you type in the product number but now with the parts rather than a different page.

I just tried to find the battery cover for the cabL, 6-32755. First I could not find it. Then I found it and it did not seem to be available. I looked again and could not find it again.
Frustrating

Is Lionel now being run by some Harvard whiz-kid bean counter, intent on bottom line at the expense of alienating long time customers? It sure seems that way.
Now that MTH is in recession, maybe Lionel thinks they own the market and they just don't care? Either way its very frustrating.
Rod
That cover should work Pete. Who cares if its a different color?

Thank you......I guess I will have to keep my Excel sheet with product numbers with me at all times!
Peter
Thank you. Got it ordered.

We warned you of an elevated frustration level,…….I trust you found it to be “new & improved”…….new, yes, improved, mmmmmmmmm..no….😉

There's no such thing as a whiz-kid bean counter. It's an oxymoron, like "Jumbo Shrimp" or, if you ask German car enthusiasts, "Fine Italian Automobiles".
Whiz-kids and bean counters are as extreme in difference as people could be, and never the twain shall meet.
However, no matter how they caused it to come about, you're absolutely right on the money with your comment that it appears that "they just don't care".
This is too big of a screw-up to be accidental.
Anybody have more Kool-Aid?

Each year my belief in what Einstein said grows. “If I were given one hour to save the planet, I would spend 59 minutes defining the problem and one minute resolving it.”
After many personal experiences I wrote Software Rule #64 "Everyone wants to use a database, but no one wants to pay for creating and maintaining a database."
Received my battery cover for the remote today.
Thank you again for your help.
I can get to the exploded parts diagram of my 6-18565 on lionelsupport.com, but how do you find the owner's manual?

When I encountered this same problem (parts diagram and parts list on LIONEL service website, but no owner's manual for my F-3), I found other road names of the same non-powered TMCC A units' family as mine, and one of them had the owner's manual listed and viewable on the parts page.
Find other road names of the same model you have, and check them for an owner's manual on their parts page.

The new parts website is a disaster. A lot of what was on the old site is no longer accessible. If you can’t find a link on the item’s parts page then I have no idea where else to look. Good luck.
