April 6, 2014: Zhang Yan of China works on a sand sculpture titled 'Siberian Railway & Vladivostok as the Capital of the Far East' at the Sand Museum in the Tottori Dune in Tottori, Japan, on April 3. The 7th Annual Sand Sculpture Exhibition, hosted by the museum, features the theme 'Russia' this year as a tribute to the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. The exhibition is open to the public from April 19 to Jan. 4

People who do sand sculpture are very good artists and craftsmen. I went to a sand sculpture festival in Hawaii and found the sand has to be just right, and stay moist during their work. Thanks for posting.
