WIFI Issue

Buddy I have the same problem only mine is with Var 1 it 's ok as long as I do not try to boot up with power on Var 1

More details needed:  Rev of TIU?  if Rev L, serial or USB connection? free app or $4.99 app? android or Apple app?

Not sure of the Rev of TIU, not the Rev L, One of the first versions.  Connected thru the Serial Port, $4.99 App on Apple ipad.

I assume that you're powering the TIU through the AUX port or, if thru FIXED 1, you're not turning off power to FIXED 1?????

Power thru Fixed 1.  As soon as I connect fixed 2, it does not read any engines.  But If I power up without fixed 2 connected, it works perfectly.

Buddy, I just wanted to make sure that the TIU is powered---the internal LED is lit.

FYI, right now I am using 2 original issue Rev Gs with the wifi, so age is not a factor.  I assume everything works ok with the remote???

Try powering up FIXED 2 with the wifi turned off, and then turn on the wifi.

I've just started playing with the wifi, so I'm really just stabbing in the dark.

Everything works perfect with the remotes.  I'll try again, pretty sure I've tried it before.  But, just in case.

maybe switch the tiu  outputs to different channels and see if the problem changes, that might see something, maybe a track wiring issue, it's worth a try anyway! try to just use  fixed 2 with dcs turned on and off and see what happens . sometimes you have to experiment with things to determine the cause. power up only the aux port for fixed one and the try to use fixed 2 and see if anything changes, if nothing else you may prove or disprove  the fixed 2 channel is working or not?
