How about taking the train to the ballpark? Old hat for New Yorkers, but still a fairly new experience here in the Twin Cities. The Twins' Target Field is at the end of a light rail line, same station complex as the Northstar 'heavy' commuter rail line. The St. Paul Saints new minor league stadium is about a block east of St. Paul Union Depot, which is also a light rail station.
I think I've only driven to a ballgame once in this century, and that was to the old Saints field - Municipal Stadium - where the BNSF Mpls-St Paul mainline ran just the other side of the leftfield fence.

That is a cool and fun find! Thanks for sharing! I grew up in Iowa. Just shared this post with my family back home.
I am sure Hathorne Collectibles will be all over this.
Is the Hawkeye express operational? Are there any planned excursions? Be cool if they are.
