I posted these here some years ago, but the recent What Did You Do On Your Layout thread about paving trolley tracks reminded me of these illoes I did a dozen or so years back in RailModeller.

The plans are based on actual street railways (mostly Philaelphia and Atlantic City).

Hopefully, they'll inspire you to have fun with that old 027 track, switches and such that you have knocking about...

Good to see you posting in the tinplate trenches again!

Your photo is a reminder of how I often wish I had decided to ditch the dark side of the hobby (HO) for O TRACTION, thereby avoiding the majority of obsolescence-of-electronic-multiplicity-mayhem in the larger O3R realm.

Meanwhile, back at Mitch's ranch of relaxation and recuperation...and (sometimes) radical restorations of relics...
