Just curious,i know it states 12v dc,but is there any reason why i couldn't use these for 18v track connections ?,i don't have any project in mind, i just wanted to know for future reference.

There's no unreasonable limit on voltage...safely use it up to say 50 volts.
They're not high current connectors, so track power is probably out of the question.
That connector is very similar to one they use for a starter set...a small layout there, though.
Also, I wonder about the new plug n play 3 pin connectors...meant mostly for a 1 amp light pole I guess, but they are also used for track feeds.
I was just fooling around on the layout to see what would happen if i used these connectors for track power,so i used wires with alligator clips connected to the track, & the other end connected to the connectors themselves ,i then turned track power on to full power, there was nothing on the track at the time & no wires or connectors got hot ,& my meter was reading 16.2 v, both going into the connectors,& coming out i left it that way for a few minutes & i didn't see any problems ,what would you guys think now about using these for track power ?
Bad idea. The enemy of anemic connectors is current, not voltage. Nothing to get hot if you're not consuming any power.
OK John , Thanks i won't be using them for track power ,i didn't have anything better to do ,so i thought i would do a little experimenting down on the layout to kill some time.
