Can you use a Lionel #153IR Controller with more than one track side signal?

I have a Lionel 153IR Controller wired to changes the colored lights on a tack side signal. I have a Lionel #148 Dwarf Signal that I would like to hook to the same #153IR. Can that be done? Or do I have to buy a second controller for the second signal?

You can have more than one red and one green light powered via the 153IR. I recommend twisting your like wires together before inserting into the 153IR terminals.
