Hey all, I got this MPC era engine cheap. I have no tender with it and the back trucks are missing. it has the tether for the mighty sound of steam. its fairly nice, but where would I find parts for this engine? when I look on-line, it wants part number and I dont know it. does anybody have this particular engine? thanks Chris

well, looks like someone put it up on Ebay! 6-8900 is the part. looks like mine.
Looks like the postwar 2055 truck would work. The 8900 is a clone of the postwar 2046/2056/646, so if you can find a truck using those numbers, you should be good, too.
Everything you need (exploded parts diagram and list) is here on pgs 136-139:

The correct part is 2055-42
It is readily available from most parts suppliers, including forum sponsor S&W parts @S AND W :

Dave and others, the 8900 is a smaller Santa Fe-type Hudson. It's actually based on the 2055, with whitewall tires and a snazzy paint job. But the rear truck from the 646, 665, 2065, and 8206 will interchange.
thanks all! much appreciated.
I believe it was part of the FARR SERIES "famous American railroad" back In the 70's.
It will be a nice engine If you can get it running.

The Santa Fe was the first of FARR the series.
