Unfortunatley, I can't comment on how accurate these cars are to the prototypes, but I can say that they have amazing detail and minute variations between each car (spoked vs. solid wheels, vestibules, vents, etc.) The level of add on detail is to the point where one has to be carful not to break anything when picking up the car! Oh, and yes, the car body doors do open - and latch shut!
