I was at the MTH booth several times and York and completely forgot to pick up the new catalog.
I see a number of items that I will be ordering this week.
That standard gauge presidential set is RIDICULOUS amazing. Close to 3 grand to get the entire set but man would this thing look incredible under a Christmas tree. When I got to this page of the catalog I got stuck there for about 10 minutes.
Allan are you kidding me!?? I cant believe that it would slip your mind to grab the tinplate catalog!
I'm not going to rush into anything, but there's a Christmas Set in my future. A friend at my office purchased one for his son and Grandson for thier Christmas tree and got me interested. Today he announced he was planning to order the 263E Baby Blue Comet.
Dang, these Tin things are addictive.
Nothing caught my eye particularly this go round. Which is good- my bank account needs replenishing.

I assure you it's the truth. Worst of all, the boys in the office didn't bring some back with them when they returned from York. Don promised to contact MTH to correct that oversight.
However, now that the catalog is online, that's really good enough for me when it comes to making some ordering decisions, which will be placed tomorrow after I also decide what I also want from the O Gauge catalog (thus far there's an Alaska Genset and and Alaska Geep.
