Besides the new SD60e(thank you Mike) what other neat stuff will be in it? I missed the 611 last release, they ran out of them, hope to see it again.

You are right, thank you.

I'm hoping for some Geeps, F-units, or E-units in road names other than UP, ATSF, SP or Pennsylvania.
BNSF ES44ac, not special like the golden swoosh, just flat out BNSF ES44acs
As always....an M Class is my hope.

Wait two weeks for the catalog, then two years for the product. Sorry, sorry I couldn't resist
There will be, largely, All the Wrong Things, as usual - as usual in most catalogues, and that saves me money.
There will be those few annoying items that I want, or, at least, like. These need to stop.
I just now got around to ordering a GM&O 50' boxcar from the last (I guess) catalogue.
As I use TMCC/etc primarily, this insulates me from most motive power MTH-gotta-have-its, but not all.

Maybe.....maybe not. Two years ago which would be (Oct 2013) I ordered two locomotives from the 2014 Volume 1 catalog. The NYC GP9 and the Dreyfuss Hudson. Both came in last October (Oct 2014). Then at almost the same time when those locomotives came in (Oct 2014) I ordered the Hudson with PT Tender. That came in last week (Oct 2015). So all three locomotives arrived in one year. I can't say every item out of the last 4 catalogs was this timely but I am hoping that the days of waiting 2 years for a product are pretty much over--meaning that bulk of the catalog gets delivered in a timely fashion.
How about a brand new engine not made in 3-Rail yet, only it was made in 2-Rail. How about the UP C855??? That's an engine that would be very similar to the U50C body, but it is different. So that's one engine I would love to have.

Which would require new tooling for either Lionel and/or MTH. Thus, it probably will not happen, since that tooling wouldn't be able to be used for any other railroad.

That never stopped Lionel for the DD35A's and MTH for DD40X's from Fantasy Locomotive Works...

I would like to see PS-3 Union Pacific Coal turbine
I would like to see a rerun of RF&P GP7.

Sunrise
Hello Sunrise, I would also like to see another set, I have a dummy unit, it was supposed to be a power unit but that is another story.
I see we have the same zip code 22405 hope to meet you some day.

A NEW Premier NYC Subway... Enough with Railking R-17s already !!!!
I am hoping for a set of Metroliners in PRR,Penn Central and Amtrak.

I be in for the PRR version, but I am not holding my breath on that one. MTH cancelled the railking version for lack of interest, I had no interest in it, I would have went for the premier version.
The Premier GP30 and GP35 have been run in many paint schemes and detail variations, but not for the Soo Line.
So now I am concerned that they are going to put the SOO GP30 locos and SOO GP35 locos all in one catalog.
Andrew
Are they going to produce a reply to the Lionel 86' Hi-cube Boxcars?
Andrew
When my LHS, has this catalog available, he sends out an email to his customers. I will make the drive out to his shop and pick up a Free 2016 Vol 1Catalog.
Hope they have more details about the WiFi System, that is more then the past several catalogs.

John...
Not sure from your OP comment ("I missed the 611 last release, they ran out of them, hope to see it again.") whether you are yet seeking a recent 611, NIB. We (LHS) might be able to help.
If so, your email address is 'not acceptable', apparently.....tried to use. Current?

I'm not on facebook or I would post this over to MTH's facebook page, but why would they do tooling for a Premier SD45 and not do the most popular SD45 scheme:

My current email is pigzilla@sbcglobal.net.
Brian at Legacy Station said MTH is making another batch of them and I already gave him the order for one, however thank you very much for the help.
John
Is it the 21st or the 22nd that it is being posted online?
Bill
I still hope MTH makes Southern Railway green F7s. They have played out the black versions, including a reissue of the NS OCS, which they said they wouldn't do. Wonder if they will follow with high nose GP30 or GP35 models?
Already knowing I'm going to get the SD60E's, I'm happy to wait until I get the catalog at the DCS meeting at York next Wednesday!
But I'm really hoping for:
PRR 2-10-2 N1s
Strasburg RR 2-10-0 #90
Strasburg RR 4-8-0 #475
Amtrak Viewliner Sleeper & Diner
Amtrak E60
Amtrak Acela
Amtrak HHP-8
Amtrak Cities Sprinter ACS-64
Metroliners: PRR, Penn Central, Amtrak
F7 ABBA: Penn Central, Western Pacific
Santa Fe FP45
Penn Central GG1 (black)

I don't have much SP, but I'd definitely get one of those. Still waiting for a CF7.
I too would be very much interested in SP SD45s as depicted above. Also some Northern Pacific SD45s. The restored and operating #3617 would be a great choice for running today (2015) as well as when the "Main Street of the Northwest" was still hauling tonnage.
I would love to see them deliver some #4 and #6 ScaleTrax switches that they have been advertising in every catalog for the last ten years!
Take your pick of Premier steam that hasn't received the PS3 treatment yet. Several PRR engines come to mind.
I will be interested to see if there is any new tooling. I highly doubt it. MTH seems to be in repro mode these days. Hope I'm wrong though.
Just my thoughts...
I'd like to see MTH complete what's in 2014 (vol. 2) catalog before jumping into the "ad" catalog for 2016 for stuff that may/may not be available in the next few years.
My request would be "the Plant System". Two Henry's built Florida....Henry Flagler on the East Coast---Florida East Coast RR., and Henry Plant on the West Coast....The Plant System. Never have seen anyone build a Plant System model, and I would hope that MTH does someday. (I know that Mike Wolf comes to Florida quite often, so maybe there is hope?!)

I wouldn't and would be surprised to see more 44 ton switchers. I'd think MTH would want to catalog more but the other side of the coin says that they'd want to wait to deliver the first run before promising more. I'm really looking forward to my LIRR 44T!
