No.  Because no fix has been announced, largely b/c no problem has been announced.

Yes...we all "know" something is up.  But there is NO WAY to have an ETA as to when these will be shipped.

I don't get the impatient questions on this.  If there is actually an issue, each model will have to be fixed, repaired, or updated.  Whether that's done in the States or China, it will likely take a LOT of time.  I don't how many were ordered, but I think it's safe to assume we're talking about a production run of, roughly, 1,000 to 3,000 units.  (this is simply a guess on my part.)

If each model has to be worked on/repaired, think about how long that will take.

I also think they'll be batch repaired or shipped.....so until the last one is ready, we're waiting.

Well I talked to my dealer today (A big dealer) and he said they all were being reprogrammed. He Also said he was waiting on Lionel to pick up his entire stock of ALCO PA's for the same reason.

I will wait as long as it takes to get the one I ordered in operating condition right out of the box. I have a set of PA's from a different big dealer that I have to send back to Lionel at my expense - not cool.

Makes sense.     Thanks for the reply.

When they get here the get here!  I don't want Lionel to rush getting them out due to pressure from members of this and other train forums, as was the case with the Ascella.

Let them take there time and make everything perfect.  Sometimes we are our own worst enemy's.

Amen brother.  Our overall satisfaction with these will have nothing to do with their shipment date or arrival date.  Not one bit.

The quality and reliability of the model are what matter.  And none of us need these models to survive or continue living our lives.
