My industrial rail trolley motor no longer works, the gears slip on the axle. Is there a parts source or similar product out there?

A bit more info may help in answering your questions. Scale? Make? Model? Pics?

Atlas upgraded the IR trolley gears from plastic to brass; however, they do not offer upgrade kits for older IR trolleys, last I checked. You can, if you like, get a newer Atlas IR trolley and switch shells, as they are interchangeable.
Hope this helps!

SteveH, o scale, 3 rail, older atlas industrial rail. I ask this for 2 reasons, to potentially repair this piece and because i would like to locate a 3 rail under floor power truck for a project. Older kline and lionel locomotive power trucks with a can motor in the truck are way too large for a trolley or light rail model. I was hoping folks who model trolleys might know of a source outside the realm of lionel, mth, atlas, etc.
You might look for the Williams scale 44-Ton locomotive it has some nice small power trucks.

NWSL made or make replacement axle gears. I replaced one truck worth using the NWSL gears. The gears were plastic.
