I have a loop of G scale set up outside. Track power wires (2 pair) have been run underground and come above ground where the transformer will be located. Since the transformer is not in an enclosure, I need to bring it out when I want to run trains. I want to put a 4-pin connector or two 2- pin connectors on wire pigtails on the transformer and on the track power wires. This way I can take the transformer outside and plug the connectors together and be all set.

Any recommendations on a what to use for the connectors? One half of the connector, track wiring side, will be left outside. Something like Molex connectors will work, but they are sometimes a pain to pull apart. I need a connector that connects/disconnects easily and will stand up to repeated plug ins. Thanks.
