8X12 On30 "L" Layout

This is for a layout my brother (in Denver) is building. (Lots of narrow gauge in Colo.) He has the benchwork and half the track down at this point. Its 8' by 11'4". Minimum radius is 20".

The layout uses Peco turnouts and On30 flex track.

Here is the plan with elevations and grades. There is one steep grade of 5%, which short narrow gauge trains should handle just fine.

There is very little level track, the longest section is at 6" through the 180 degree curves below the turntable.
