Okay guys, I'm going to throw this one out for all, or any response.   At the recent March O Scale Meet here in Chicago, I picked up a Pecos River Brass large vertical water tank, that I plan on using as a oil or fuel storage tank.  I thought the larger tank looked better than P.R.B.'s skinny oil tanks that he did many years back.  Now...what would be a good color to paint this tank?   I'm not real keen on black, but am leaning towards white, or maybe even a silver/gray color.  The tank will be lightly weathered after painting, if this helps.  Any suggestions would be helpful.  Thanks!

Dewey, and Alan, thank you both for your suggestions.  I plan to use this in conjunction with the future Atlas ex Walthers Phoenix Fuel Oil kit(s) so I may just go with all white, but I do like the idea of the lowest band painted a different color.   I'm going to sit on this for a few days.  Thanks again for your comments!            Richard
