Hi Joey:
Very nice video! I love that NG 2-8-8-2 - what a great job the builder did on its construction. If you get the time, please post more videos(?).
Neil
Thanks for sharing, Joey. I always watch your videos and they are all great & fun to watch.
Dennis
Great video Joey. Nice meeting you at York and seeing your wonderful layout . Started working on the filter hairspray and ground foam trees and vines . Thanks Tom
That looked like a lot of fun. Thanks for the video Joey.
Joey, those were great videos, as always. One thing, was that a quilling whistle on some of those steam engines? If so, how do they do that? Years ago we had a fellow from Wheeling, Wva brought a "G" Layout to the Greenbo Show, and he was some sort of electronics whizz that was into trains, and he had quilling whistles on his locomotives many, many years before Lionel made it fashionable. Just wondering..............................Brandy
Good stuff as always !!!!! Thanks
Good stuff..as always, Joey. Love the whistle on the Shay.

Excellent camera work, my friend! I love narrow gauge (any scale) and it's a delight to see the modeling talent these folks are willing to share with their fellow hobbyists. I'm sure all who attended were equally impressed with your Spruce Coal & Timber handiwork.
WOW THE 2-8-8-2 WAS INCREDIBLE!!AND THE LOGGING ENGINE "SHAY MAGNIFIQUE"
YEP the Shay is the winner in my books. Great video, thanks for sharing, My son and I watched over and over again the video taking notes for the new up coming layout. We want to incorporate a On30 with our 3 rail stuff. Good stuff. Nick
Having just been to the Cass Railroad this weekend and watching the Shays at work, the one in this video was right on the money, down to the whistle. Thanks for putting that together, Joey, and sharing it with us.
Mike
Nice stuff!
Excellent Joey!! Thanks so much...
Alan
Excellent video.
Thank folks, glad you enjoyed and I thought about you all when I was there as many of the people involved were in 1:48 scale in one one way or another. Sure there was the large scale stuff and a small host of 1:87 stuff but for the most part it seemed to be our scale as the majority.
Brandy,
I have a message into Clem about the sound unit on the Shay and if I am not mistaken it is one of the Bachmann units that he and Jack put a different sound unit in with radio control and battery power. Also I believe that whistle is recorded in that sequence and he is not making it sound like that on the fly. Similar to the Soundtraxx Tsunami stuff.
Mike,
I'm with you on the Cass sentiments. Although I am only a couple hours from there, I only get down once or twice a year.
Great video! Enjoyed it very much. Loved that shay.
Thanks Joey.
