Thanks guys. The problem is most crimp connector assortments have tons of everything for #6 or #8 stud size and up. I have tons of those lying around, and they are very handy for stuff that size. The problem is that making hookups to power trucks requires really small ring crimps; like #4 stud or M3 size. And those seem to be scarce.
Those that you linked Leo look like a good possibility; though #16 is bigger wire size than needed. #22 wire is the usual size for power pickups, and they might crimp down to that OK. MikeH, that HF set looks pretty neat, and as luck would have it I happen to have that same assortment. So I dug it out and sure enough it has a bunch of small #4 ring connectors, though they are insulated. But once you cut the insulation sleeve off, you have a nice compact #4 crimp connector good for 18-22 wire size. They should work nicely especially after soldering the wire and slipping a shrink sleeve over it. Should be nice and compact.
So thanks all for this input; I should be good for a while.
