I have no idea if this should go here or elsewhere. So moderators, please move it where it should go.

Last Saturday I visited the Foley Railroad Museum, which includes a beautiful detailed and sceniced 20' x 60' 3 rail train layout in a separate annex building. It is open from 10AM to 2PM every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. They have about 20 members, the several that were there Saturday are a great bunch of guys. The pictures and videos below show several parts of the layout. If you are ever in the area it is well worth an hour of your time. Foley is just a few minutes off I-10 as you are heading east from Mobile, AL towards Pensacola.

More info: The club runs strictly MTH trains and MTH DCS for control. The power is supplied by three Z-4000's running three TIU's with all channels in fixed mode. They have several DCS handhelds so any members present can run trains.

They don't sound interested in morphing to wifi or iphone, ipad, or tablet control. No WTIU's here.

I hope it is OK with the members that I have shown these pictures and videos of their beautiful layout here!

Looks like a good prospect for a full feature in the magazine, if one of the members is interested in putting something together.

If none of the club members respond or are not OGR Forum members, perhaps you could contact Forum member David (D500) who lives not far to the west of Foley. He might be of some assistance contacting them.
