I built a Benchtop Power Supply for both Variable 0-18 Volts AC for Track Power and 0-18 Volts AC for Accessory Power from a spare Lionel CW-80 Transformer, and Various DC Voltages like +12, +5, +3.3, and -12 Volts DC from a old PC Power Supply. When I connect across two hot leads instead of to ground for examples the +12V and -12V I get 24V, +12V and +3.3V I get +8.7V, so depending on which two I do I can get various DC Voltage output combinations. I'm waiting on an adjustable DC Buck Converter with LED Voltage Display that I can connect to the +12V & -12V so I can adjust it to whatever DC voltage I want to set it at. If anyone is interested I can tell you how to wire up a PC Power Supply so you could do it too, or search YouTube for PC Power Supply use for benchtop. Thanks for looking! Have a great day!
